Accounts Payable Specialist

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves a variety of tasks related to managing and processing accounts payable. The successful candidate will be expected to handle several responsibilities, including moving and categorizing emails, renaming and saving invoices, and resolving invoice problems. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Categorize and move emails received in various Accounts Payable mailboxes. Rename emails received in the various email boxes so that invoices can be saved and retrieved as needed. Code invoices with company/location numbers on a daily basis. Batch PDF’s so that the invoices can be processed through the Markview invoice import process. Work batches in Kofax suspended queue with minimal supervision. Assist with paper mail processing as needed for all divisions. Resolve problem invoices through the daily resolution of the Markview problem queue. Utilize leadership skills to ensure smooth operation within the team. Apply skills in coding invoices and batching for efficient processing. Requirements Very strong Microsoft Excel skills Proficiency in coding invoices is essential for this role. Must possess strong leadership skills to guide and manage a team. Experience in batching tasks or processes is required. Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and best practices is necessary. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are key.
