If so, Luzerne County Area Agency on Aging (AAA) has an immediate opening for an Administrative Officer 1 position in which you can help us make a difference. Apply today and come join our team! DESCRIPTION OF WORKThis position coordinates the Senior Employment Program and the Pennsylvania Department Title V Program. You will also be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, counseling, and placing applicants into meaningful community employment. This includes writing and submitting all Federal Program proposals to ensure the continuance of subsidized employment opportunities for low-income older workers. Responsibilities also involve the review and analysis of existing program achievements and the development of new programs, policies, and operating procedures as well as creating posters, pamphlets, and newsletters to help communicate opportunities and information pertaining to older workers.Other duties include but are not limited to delegating tasks to the five on-site Participant Staff Assistants, attending AAA Advisory and staff meetings, and coordinating the Senior Community Service Employment Program to ensure that programs resources are in accordance with the total objective of the Workforce Investment Act. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and a bachelor's degree;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
