Description We are seeking a proficient Application Analyst in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The role requires an individual capable of effectively troubleshooting and supporting intricate enterprise applications within the banking industry. The Application Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including application upgrades, vulnerability management, and maintenance of custom-built applications. This position provides a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Analyzing and resolving intricate technical issues, ensuring minimal impact on business operations Managing applications in cloud environments, with familiarity in Azure DevOps Utilizing advanced knowledge of database management systems SQL Server, SSIS ETL functionality to re-write complex queries and perform database maintenance tasks Working with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and network infrastructure components (routers, switches, firewalls) and security protocols Using monitoring and diagnostic tools like SolarWinds for proactive system health monitoring and troubleshooting Handling incident management, including ticket triaging, prioritization, resolution, and escalation in accordance with defined SLAs Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and building positive working relationships Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies in all application support activities, including data handling and security measures Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and enhance support efficiency Coordinating tasks, meeting deadlines, and ensuring that projects are completed successfully with project management skills. Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience in an Application Analyst role or similar Proficiency in Database Management and Operations Experience with EO/IR systems is essential Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite of products Proven experience in AB Testing methodologies Familiarity with Active Directory operations and management Strong understanding of Application Support processes Proficiency in managing Computer Hardware systems Experience in Configuration Management practices Ability to work with SSIS ETL tools effectively Proficient in .NET C programming language Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
