Application Support Analyst / Systems Administrator

Job Summary The Application Support Analyst / Systems Administrator helps support and manage the middleware technologies used by our organization. This DevOps role is part of the Application Architecture support team and will be responsible for participating in the administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Java, RedHat Linux, .NET and Windows technologies. You will be working closely with product teams and product owners to develop, build documentation and improve the continuous software delivery process. This is a technologically diverse position and will require the candidate to adapt, learn and interface with various teams.

Essential Functions

Perform software deployments, administration, performance tuning and monitoring of DevOps technologies, including software development and database
Provide system administration of a diversified infrastructure of servers including different operating systems (RHEL and Windows)
Provide day-to-day software integration support for software development systems
Participate in design, develop, and implementation of new software tools and processes

Support the testing and development of the software development systems
Develop and maintain business relationships that will leverage and support the technology strategy
Provide 24x7 support on a rotating basis with other team members

Required Skills

Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
Ability to communicate and build documentation effectively in a team environment
Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support
Ability to use system administration skills for multiple operating system platforms

Preferred Skills

Experience with Software Development Lifecycle tools
Experience with Agile work management methodology
Experience with security related issues and performance tuning as they apply to Linux and Windows operating system
Atlassian Confluence, Jira, FishEye, Crucible
TeamCity, Git, Nexus Repository, Nexus IQ Server

Red Hat Linux, JBoss
Windows Server, IIS
Scripting (UNIX shell scripts, Python, Perl)
