Associate Scientist - Analytical Chemist

Piper Clinical Solutions is actively seeking an Associate Scientist - Analytical Chemist to work in the Greater Philadelphia area. This position would be working Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.

• Assist and learn method development and method validation for HPLC, UPLC,
• Develop and train on analytical techniques and methods
• Review, revise and rewrite SOPs in the analytical development department.
• Collect data from studies to interpret findings, write summary reports, and analyze data for accuracy
• Be hands-on in the lab by assisting with and executing experiments utilizing wet chemistry based measurements

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or similar field
• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced medical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated environment
• Minimum 1 years of experience with analytical chemistry techniques and equipment including pipetting, pH meters, UV-Vis, Karl Fischer, FTIR, etc
• Experience with mass spectrometry including LC-MS and GC-MS preferable
• Strong organizational and written communication skills

• Compensation: $40,000 - 70,000 based on previous salary history and experience
