Akkodis is hiring an Automation Leader for a leading global supplier of equipment, systems, and digital solutions in the mining, transit and railroad industries. This is a DIRECT HIRE POSITION.
onsite at either of these locations: Erie, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Duncan, SC; Ft. Worth TexasUp to 50% Domestic travel between these 4 sites (will operate onsite when not traveling)Pay Range: $140k - $145K and bonus eligible The need for this high-profile position within the organization is for someone who can build an automation process from the ground up. Develop an automation program, robotics, AI, Intelligent process automation In this critical role, the Automation Leader will be responsible for defining the strategy for physical and data process automation for operations, supply chain, and distribution. Strategy will then be deployed in the form of projects that will unlock productivity and efficiencies within the network of the organizations manufacturing facilities. The Automation leader will serve as the principal PMO and technical expert to drive transformation across Global Supply Chain. An effective candidate will have experience and demonstrated execution in the areas of robotics, AI, software, and a track record for driving global projects. This role is critical and will have significant visibility given the business imperative of operational excellence.Essential Responsibilities:• Define Automation and AI strategy for the company's Global Supply Chain Network, inclusive of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Intelligent Process Automation (IPA).• Manage global project execution, focusing on efficiencies in machining, inspection, assembly, distribution, and smart assets.• Lead coach and mentor a team of Operational Technology experts.• Partner with Engineering and Information Technology teams to drive outcomes. Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders and an integrated business automation strategy.• Communicate regularly across supply chain functions & present to leadership on key issues, value-add and maturation of manufacturing facilities and global processes.Qualifications/Requirements:• Bachelor's degree / Master's degree in Process Automation Technologies or Engineering from an accredited university or college• Minimum of 10 years' experience in Automation technologies / deployment or related experience.• Ability to travel up to 50% of time.• Previous experience Leading and developing teams and individualsDesired Characteristics:• Strong Project Management Skills (WBS / Constraint Management)• Strong Financial acumen• Strong oral and written communication skills• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills• Ability to influence others and lead cross-functional teams• Lead high impact, multi-faceted initiatives.• Effective problem identification and solution skills• Demonstrated conflict resolution and negotiation skills.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
