Skills:

5+ years of experience in automated testing using Java
Experience in automation using Selenium
Experience in Cloud environments (AWS)
Hands-on API automation experience, gRPC, and REST APIs
NoSQL database (like Couchbase) experience, should be able to retrieve and manipulate data
Experience working in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery environment, Concourse is a plus
Experience in SDLC, Agile, test plan creation, requirements analysis, test case design, automation script creation, and test execution best practices.
Experience working with RDK devices or other CPE network devices
Strong understanding of Linux command-line tools
Basic knowledge of networking, TCP/IP internals, and other network protocols such as DHCP, DNS, HTTP, etc.
Experience with using project management tools, like Jira
Experience with using test management tools - ALM Octane, Test Rail
Experience in Cable/Telecom domain
Experience in performance testing using Jmeter or Locust (or any other tool)
Experience in shell scripting

Responsibilities:

Contributes to the development of Quality Engineering test philosophies and methodologies.
Reviews and verifies requirements and design specifications for validity in overall product design, with an emphasis on product testability and verification.
Produce documentation/metrics with the goal of reducing test intervals and improving quality
Develop and execute test plans and test cases
Write and edit complex, automated test code, in accordance with specifications and technical requirements, maintaining automation codebase in a version control system (Git). This may include writing gRPC and RESTful API automated scripts.
Perform functional and syntax reviews of automation code.
Working with other QE engineers to drive automation and CI/CD tools and framework
Execute and manage test cases and results, report on test and defect metrics
Execute automated functional, integration, and regression test cases; log, track and verify the resolution of defects
