AWS Technical Analyst (Remote)
Position Description CGI has an immediate need for a AWS Technical Analyst with Disaster Recovery Experience to join our life sciences practice area. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the pharmaceutical industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.Your future duties and responsibilities As an AWS Technical Analyst you will act as a key participant in the following:• Support a scalable, secure, highly-available, datalake in a complex environment;• Participate in design and automation of cloud solutions• Devise enterprise strategies around containerization, serverless and API management;• Define and document cloud solution architecture(s) including technical designs and diagrams;• Build and deploy production systems in AWS;• Design enterprise cloud technical strategy;• Understand and champion cloud lifecycle management, helping evolve and expand Infinitive's footprint;• Represent Infinitive as a cloud expert in industry events and with customers;• Architect and develop working demonstrations and proofs of concepts in AWS;• Acting as the primary technical POC on cloud related engagementsRequired qualifications to be successful in this role• 3+ years of experience and developing in AWS (for ex, Python/Pyspark/Glue/S3/Lambda)• Experience building and supporting cloud datalake• Experience with Jenkins or Maven, Git/version control, NoSQL databases (mongoDB);• Familiar with data structures, schemas, and infrastructure;• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and hands-on experience in AWS provisioning;• Strong understanding of Cloud-based application deployment architectures;• Experience with event-driven architectures and RESTful API design;• Excellent leadership, peer management, and communication skills;• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator Associate or Professional (preferred);• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional (preferred);• Bachelor's degree;• Experience with Disaster Recovery Plans in cloud environment Skill Set Years of Experience Proficiency LevelAWS Cloud services experience 3+ StrongOracle or related DBMS 3+ Strong DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREDDevelopment Operations experiencePharmaceutical / Life Sciences experienceVaccines business area experienceWeb Content Management experience with WordpressTechnical writingManagerial skillsTeam orientedSoftware testing Skill Set Years of Experience Proficiency LevelSox Compliance 3+ MediumPharma System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) 3+ MediumDevelopment Operations (DevOps) 2+ MediumHP ALM (App. Lifecycle Mgmt) 1+ MediumTricentis Tosca Testsuite 1+ Medium Minimum Education Required: Bachelor's degreeEst.
