Position: Azure Data Engineer with Power BI

Location: West Chester, PA

Years of Experience: 5+ YearsJob Description:

Experience of at least 5 years in data from a BI Development background with skills in using Power BI, Power Apps, Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, T-SQL and Azure SQL Database.
Experience in building, testing and maintaining Azure data factory pipelines, as well as using Azure Integration tools and services.
Knowledge of Azure alerts and metrics, Synapse, Dedicated and On Demand SQL Pool with Azure Databricks, Azure Functions and understanding of different file formats parquet being nice to have.
Power BI Developer with proven understanding of Power BI principles; Dashboard development, DAX query language, Incremental loading, Admin and Security, Source Control, Disaster Recovery and Change impact analysis.
Strong SQL development experience, including Stored Procedures, View, Common Table Expressions and Performance Tuning.
Experience in designing, modelling, performance tuning and analysis, implementing process using SSIS for data extraction, transformation and loading process
You'll have a strong understanding of data architecture and governance principles and best practices.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain integrations between internal and external software.
Build ETL processes to integrate external data into our internal data warehouse.
Manage company's Azure resources.
Learn about the multi-family industry and realize where benefits may exist to use data for improving customer experience and showing investment value.
Evaluate current data and applications being used for reporting of operational data and determine whether it is the optimal path to continue with, or that a better one might exist.
Understanding of Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Query and Report Migration.
Gathering system requirements working together with clients, application architects and product owners.
Troubleshooting problems that may arise from applications or integration of various components.
