Bakery Associate

Flying Monkey Bakery is located inside Reading Terminal Market. We bake our pastries fresh 7 days a week and are looking to add one part-time enthusiastic hard worker to our small dedicated team. Reading Terminal Market is a bustling market home to 80 independent owner-operated businesses. Working for us means working with everyone in the RTM family.

WEEKENDS ARE A MUST. No overnight shifts. We are looking to fill shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 9:30-6:30. Duties including brewing and serving coffee and tea, boxing pastries, one on one customer care in a physical and fast-paced environment. Cash handling experience is a plus. Light cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout the shift are also required. Those who are reliable and punctual should apply for this job!

While many are qualified for this position, the ideal candidate will create an environment that makes our customers excited to come back for more. Additionally, a good energy level, a positive attitude and an outgoing personality will be looked upon highly. Previous work in a retail food environment is a plus, as is baking experience. We are willing to cross train the right person as a counter associate and a baker's assistant.
