Join us and become part of the power behind possible.About The OpportunityThe Warehouse I - Bailer ensures that wastepaper is segregated and baled, and loaded correctly.

1. Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and

procedures

2. Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines

3. Monitor wastepaper program as defined by Area Manager

4. Operate safely and within standards manual baler, auto-tie evacuated baler and down-stroke baler

5. Perform machine inspections by shift

6. Operate Power Industrial Equipment (PIT) safely Class 1, 3, & 4

7. Off-load skids of wastepaper sheets into baler or band skids as needed

8. Tie off bales coming from manual and down-stroke balers

9. Retrieve and empty bins within plants at the balers following wastepaper program standards

10. Load bales and skids onto appropriate trailers as specified by wastepaper program

11. Generate accurate bills of lading and packing lists

12. Monitor other associates dumping trash to assure compliance with wastepaper program

13. Perform by shift (PIT) inspections of all pieces of equipment in the department

14. Monitor broken trailers, coordinate trailer switches daily with Warehouse Group Leader and update waste

sheets daily

15. Maintain inside dock area and outside dock area (after every trailer switch) to ensure that it is safe and

clean at all times

16. Rearrange dock area for open space when needed

17. Switch bales on the baler when full

18. Play an active role in the cleanliness of the assigned work area

19. Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting

requirements

20. Actively participate in lean manufacturing initiatives

21. Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
