Description Robert Half Finance has partnered with a dynamic company that is seeking a Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. As the Bookkeeper, you will supervise the month-end closing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and reconciliation. As well, the Bookkeeper will stay on top of a general ledger reconciliation, perform data entry, light journal entries, cash applications, and full cycle A/P coding. This Bookkeeper role will be located in the greater Philadelphia area and will be a permanent position. Submit your application as soon as possible!What you get to do every single day:

Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions.

Update and maintain the general ledger.

Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system

Recording of debits and credits

Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers.

Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions.

Prepare payroll tax returns, W-2s and 1099s.

Prepare sales tax returns and other online filings.

Requirements

The ideal Bookkeeper candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education.Other requirements for the Bookkeeper position include and are not limited to:

3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience including AP/AR, Journal Entries, Month End close.

Extensive knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and assist with in office support as needed.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
