Job Title: Building EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Building Engineer to handle HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks. This role is critical in maintaining and troubleshooting steam equipment, ensuring effective facilities maintenance, and performing both preventive and corrective maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in maintaining and repairing various building systems.Responsibilities

Perform maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Handle steam orders, repairs, and troubleshooting.

Conduct facilities maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.

Maintain and troubleshoot steam equipment, including hot water generators and convertors.

Manage work order systems and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Read and interpret blueprints for maintenance and repair tasks.

Ensure compliance with EPA regulations.

Essential Skills

Experience in HVAC maintenance.

Proficiency in electrical and plumbing repairs.

Ability to perform general maintenance tasks.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Experience with steam equipment in commercial buildings.

Mechanical aptitude and ability to repair mechanical systems.

Familiarity with maintenance of hot water generators and convertors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with sprinkler equipment.

Proficiency in centrifugal repair.

Ability to repair pneumatic equipment.

Knowledge of work order systems.

Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
