Job Purpose: This position's role is to lead, project manage and participate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications associated specifically with procurement and other assigned functions. The applications are efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements following the company's Systems Delivery Methodology (SDM). This position is also responsible for investigation and triage of application systems problems generating and compiling reports on findings, complete with probable causes and possible solutions. This position will utilize proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help optimize IT system investments. Nature of the position: This role is a staff position with the primary function of providing analysis of business processes with the intent of applying computer automation to these processes. Responsibilities of this position include: analyzing, planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and debugging application software. Activities are largely covered by policies and procedures, including the Systems Delivery Methodology. Some portion of this job deals with undocumented processes in which analytical and problem-solving skills are required to identify and correct application systems problems. This job requires proven communication and inter-personal skills, as well as the ability to interpret policies and contribute to the development of processes and procedures. Although not responsible for direct supervision, this position provides guidance to entry level employees and consulting resources. This position regularly interacts with internal decision makers, business managers, business analysts, system owners, end users, and associates to define business, financial, and operational requirements for computer application systems; and participates in and on occasion, leads project steering committees and project core teams. This role leads design sessions for configuring, designing, prototyping, and testing of new and existing application systems. This position also plans and coordinates tasks and activities with associated departments within the organization, in addition to customers and suppliers, in a project management role. Incumbents will be involved with application user groups, software suppliers and vendor application support groups as well as consulting firms engaged as required to support development and implementation efforts. Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

Background and Experience: I. Education: Minimum Bachelor Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics or Business.Advanced University degree such as a Masters in Business Administration, Masters of Science is preferred. II. Related Work Experience:7+ years. III. Experience with maintenance support of Oracle EBS R12 Sourcing, Supplier Management and Procure to Pay (P2P) IV. Technical Skills: In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of Database Management Systems, and more than one commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) application software system (such as Oracle eBusiness Suite, Workday, SAP, Windchill, Epicor). V. Business Skills:In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of multiple end-to-end business processes; process documentation techniques; business case development; and, proven ability to communicate ideas and concepts in business terminology. VI. Other Skills: • Expert in the project management concepts and use of project management tools. • Proven analytical and problem-solving capabilities. • Experience with Microsoft and Google office applications. • Excellent listening, speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills. • Experience with programming or SQL a plus.
