Piper Companies is looking for a Business Analyst for a leading financial lender located in King of Prussia, PA. This is 100% remote position. They are looking for candidates in PA, NJ, DE and MD. Must be a W2 Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:• • Ability to work with both the application SMEs and Business Stakeholders for eliciting requirements using various methods and to ensure a full understanding of business processes and rules that need to be applied • Work with Product Owner to define project goals and ensure timely delivery of milestone items • Implement strategic and technical solutions for problems reported by business and operations team by identifying the root cause • Help define features and story level requirements for larger projects/client implementation • Create and define user stories, with an emphasis on acceptance criteria, breaking down epics and features into smaller business deliverables • Understand and document functional, technical and non-functional acceptance criteria • Assist Product Owner in keeping Product Backlog prioritized • Present stories for backlog refinement and work through developer questions for understanding • Document requirements using JIRA and Confluence • Create process diagrams, flow diagrams and/or work with our Design team on UI mockups for application functional requirements • Help with production issues root cause analysis and resolution • Work with Scrum Master and development team to coordinate planning of Agile/Scrum sprints for SDLC deliverables • Provide UAT sign off during each sprint cycle • Actively communicate all road blocks and/or receive sign off for sprint deliverable from respective stakeholders • Document release notes • Help identify process gaps and define enriched processes for better SDLC and IT solutionsQualifications for the Business Analyst:• • BA/BS degree • Direct experience working in an agile framework • Direct experience taking epics/features and breaking them into detailed user stories • Ability to write clear and concise detailed acceptance criteria and/or given-when-then scenarios • Financial services experience preferred • Experience with SQL preferredCitizenship status:• s/ (sponsorship not available)Compensation/Benefits for the Junior Business Analyst:• Comprehensive benefit package; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time OffKeywords:business analyst, business systems analyst, jira administrator, requirements gathering, functional specs, class model, constraint, deliverable, enterprise analysis, feature, functional design, functional requirements, modeling, needs, product, requirements analysis, use case diagram, stakeholder, benefits, vacation, holiday, 401k
