Are you living your life's work?Business Process Integration Associate The Business Process Integration Associate is responsible for coordinating and/or leading local and enterprise-wide level execution of Strategic Optimization Projects for their assigned area(s). This is a position requiring independent thought and judgment combined with the ability to understand front-line business operations in a multitude of unique settings. Working under limited supervision, this individual will facilitate implementation and acceptance of common healthcare technology applications. Accountabilities- Inform, design and assure implementation and adoption of technology.
- Assure readiness for new implementations, upgrades, new hospitals/ practices, and workflows.
- Demonstrable ability to lead and deliver strategically important projects through to completion
- Support and understand the needs of the client.
- Communications are timely and appropriate to audience.
- Maintain confidential information.
- Complete assignments in a timely manner.
- Open to change and different approaches to work.
- Clinical Team only: Coordinate and lead governance and prioritization within the local entities.
- Performs duties in accordance with Penn Medicine and entity values, policies, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned to support the unit, department, entity, and health system organization
- Facilitate execution of enterprise and local-level strategic optimization projects.

- Bachelor's Degree is required.
- Master's Degree is Preferred
- Up to 2 years of experience working with electronic medical records is required.
- Prior experience in a medical practice management or healthcare management role is preferred.
- Experience using Epic is preferred
- EPIC certification is preferred
- Understanding of electronic medical records functionality
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to use Visio
- Understanding of medical office and/or hospital and/or healthcare operations
- Experience with precertifications and scheduling
- Schedgistration Team: Experience with precertifications and scheduling
- Clinical Team: Clinical experience/management of a medical office or hospital setting
- Access Team: Experience with Patient Portals, Epic My Chart
- Bachelor's Degree is required
- 2+ years Working with electronic medical records, applications.
- Prior experience in a medical practice management or healthcare management role is preferred.
