Business System Analyst (Empower Configuration Specialist)Category: Business Analysis (functional and technical)Main location: United States, Pennsylvania, VariousPosition ID: J0423-1589Employment Type: Full TimePosition Description:Position descriptionWork on projects for one of the largest financial institutions based in US!Work in an exciting technical environment and gain exposure of advanced tools and technology suitesYour future duties and responsibilities:Future duties and responsibilitiesIn collaboration with the Project Manager and other team members, the successful candidate will be responsible for:Participating in requirements analysis, data gathering, interviews and facilitated sessions, analyzing and documenting functional business requirements to assist in the software developmentFormulating and defining systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and business systems, technical, and industry requirementsSystem Analysis to improve the user interfaces, business processes, data quality & data/reporting coverageOwn the JAD sessions and partner refinement sessionsData Analysis and development of SQL ScriptsDevising/ implementing new data reports for end users as requestedResponding to ad-hoc data enquiries from data consumers/end usersProviding advice to data consumers on what data can be provided either in data fosters or in reportsWorking with developers and domain experts to identify risks or compromises and facilitate adjustments needed to meet project objectivesParticipate in product release activitiesDevising or modifying procedures to solve complex problemsSupporting the IT lifecycle processesRequired qualifications to be successful in this role:Required qualifications to be successful in this roleThis is an intermediate level position with a bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant technical experience required. Successful candidates will possess:Understanding of and experience with the mortgage banking industryExperience working on Black Knight’s product Empower (configuration experience is MUST)Solid grasp of later versions of MS SQL server technologies and ability to write complex SQL queriesExperience of API tools like SoapUI, Postman, Swagger is a plusStrong business analysis skillsExperience working in agile frameworkStrong leadership and collaborative skills with willingness to take ownership and responsibility for multiple assignmentsOutstanding analytical and problem-solving and resolution skills, and ability to adapt quicklySelf-motivation and strong time management and interpersonal skillsAbility to solve challenging work situations and to resolve conflicts in a positive mannerStrong communications (verbal and written) skills and solid technical writing experience“CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
