These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.Receives and delivers office communications and incoming mail, packages or other materials for established schedules or special assignments.Stamps and prepares letters, packages, printed matter, and other outgoing material for mailing.Receives telephone messages and relays information.Performs related work as required.After training the ability to use the Neopost system for mail (weight/postings) and retrieve information from the Neopost Unit, when needed.Lifting boxes/packages (when bulk mail is sent out).MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:Answers the telephone or may meet or greet callers.Provides general information pertaining to the assigned function.Replenishes computer printer, copier, or fax machine paper supplies.Performs related work as required.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:Standard office conditions include but are not limited to; various mailroom offices located in the FJD facilities.Direct contact with diverse court clientele and the publicExposure to outside weather conditions and driving hazards.In order to apply and be considered for this position, please visit https://fjdcareers.phila.gov/Cyberweb/ to complete an application and upload a resume.Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesAbility to learn simple, repetitive tasks within a reasonable period of time.Ability to perform light manual tasks.Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.Ability to make arithmetic calculations and to write legibly.In order to apply and be considered for this position, please visit https://fjdcareers.phila.gov/Cyberweb/ to complete an application and upload a resume.Work-LifeWorking hours are 40 hours per week.  This is a full-time, in person position with the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania.
