Description: The Business Analyst plays a key role in supporting Product Owner(s) along with the scrum team, with analysis, gathers, documents, and analyzes business needs and requirements. You will use your skills as a Business Analyst along with strong communication skills helping the scrum team and Product Owner understand and describe the business domain and problem to be solved by facilitating the discussions that explore the following questions: What business processes need to be revised, created, or eliminated? What information do we want to know about and track about various entities? What stakeholders (such as customers, suppliers, vendors) and systems are involved? What policies and rules guide business behavior and decisions? By building strong relationships across the organization, the Business Analyst interacts with business owners, stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their problems and needs. The Business Analyst will help Product Owner(s) derive user stories and acceptance criteria from the models created during business domain analysis, ensuring that the solution being delivered is fully explained and complete. This role requires flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and situations. Primary Responsibilities: Work with appropriate business partners to: o Understand and document the business need / opportunity o Document the current state and future state of the business (capability or process in question) Support Product Owners and scrum team with o Identifying and documenting required features o User Story writing and acceptance criteria Perform analysis, create visuals i.e. Business Process Flows (BPMN), Context Diagrams, Mock-ups/Wireframes, Activity Diagrams (UML), Use cases Develop user test scenarios Review and summarize test results Develop Functional Documentation Participate in the triage of business requests through the service request process. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in technology-related fields or relevant work experience 3+ years of work experience relevant to Business Analysis within an Agile Framework Experience gathering requirements and documenting results Possess a strong analytical background, be a problem solver and have excellent diagramming/modeling, and communication skills. Experience with workflow and evaluation of business processes (process improvement experience) Ability to problem solve including multiple priorities and research conflicting and / or inaccurate information Ability to perform research and make recommendations based on real data and past experiences. Preferred Qualifications: Analysis within an Agile Framework Exceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations Strong understanding of testing protocols and methodologies Solid analysis of results and fine-tuning of developed applications to improve functionality Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus Flexible by nature, can easily switch priorities and adjust as necessary to fill in gaps and create solutions Familiarity or past work experience within healthcare and/or health insurance preferred but not required. Where is the work to be performed? The preferred Client facility is Horsham office. Due to the pandemic, a telecommuter would be okay, but prefer a local person. What are the work hours? (ex. 9am-5pm, day/night shifts, rotating shifts, etc) Normal business hours, with flexibility between 8-5. What does the interview process look like? a. How many rounds? I will probably screen resumes and schedule an initial phone interview. b. Video vs. phone? Will probably use Teams or Webex. c. How technical will the interviews be? Both soft and hard skills will be assessed for the role.
