The Clinical Lead, Therapeutic Services will clinically supervise, assess, and evaluate clinical psychotherapy, case management and clinical needs of the intake staff to assure clinical standards are upheld and maintained. The individual shall exhibit professional conduct and a core set of ethics among all staff. The individual will strive to develop a sense of teamwork as well as assure clinical competencies for the clinical staff. Responsibilities include the monitoring of compliance with federal, state and county regulations (OMHSAS and/or DDAP) in reference to clinical areas. The Clinical Lead, Therapeutic Services will assure appropriate and timely communication is in place to inform staff of regulatory changes and to keep staff apprised of department psychotherapy information. The individual will carry a caseload commensurate with the time available given supervision, performance improvement and clinical initiatives. Clinical Supervision equals .5 FTE Clinical time equals .5 FTE and will be adjusted under the direction of the Network Director.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintains confidentiality of all materials handled within the Network/ Entity as well as the proper release of information.

Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding issues of employee, patient and environmental safety and follows appropriate reporting requirements.

Demonstrates/models the Network’s Service Excellence Standards of Performance in interactions with all customers (internal and external).

Demonstrates Performance Improvement in the following areas as appropriate: Clinical Care/Outcomes, Customer/Service Improvement, Operational System/Process, and Safety.

Demonstrates financial responsibility and accountability through the effective and efficient use of resources in daily procedures, processes, and practices.

Complies with Network and departmental policies regarding attendance and dress code.

Demonstrates competency in the assessment, range of treatment, knowledge of growth and development and communication appropriate to the age of the patient treated.

Regularly meets with all clinicians to clinically supervise clinical interventions and documentation.

Monitors clinical records by random chart audits and conducting regular Performance Improvement Meetings.

Assures Policy and Procedure for Clinical Standards are reviewed and revised as necessary.

Review’s patient assignment for appropriateness of treatment interventions and caseload.

Acts on behalf of the Network Director for communication purposes.

Leads monthly psychotherapy staff meetings in coordination with Network Director and coordinates psychotherapy supervisions and educational internal meetings.

Identifies staff development issues for the individual or collective group to improve the quality or scope of care.

PHYSICIAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:Sitting for up to eight hours per day, one hour at a time. Standing for up to one hour per day, one hour at a time. Walking for up to 2 hours per day, 20 minutes at a time. Occasionally uses fingers to turn pages. Frequently uses hands to write and hold charts. Rarely uses fingers for firm grasping or twisting/turning. Frequently uses upper extremities to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Occasionally squats, rarely reaches above shoulder level. Hearing as it relates to normal conversations. Seeing as it relates to general vision, near vision, far vision, color vision and peripheral vision.EDUCATION:Master’s degree in counseling or Social Work with LCSW or LPC required. Minimum of 3 years clinical experience required. Minimum of 3 years direct supervision required. CAADC or CCDP preferred in addition to LPC/LCSWTRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:3 years of direct counseling experience in Human Services.
