As a Communications Lead within PNC's Corporate Communications organization, you may be based in the PNC footprint.A successful candidate will develop and lead internal communications strategies for Retail Lending and its senior leaders. This role requires closely partnering with external media, marketing and communications partners to develop strategies focused on shaping the Retail Lending and mortgage narrative on a national scale; developing creative and effective communications to engage employees and partners about the strategic priorities of the business, particularly for the mortgage business; demonstrating Retail Lending's expertise through thought leadership content; and ensuring an inclusive culture - one where all employees feel seen, heard and supported to do their best work.Issues are often sensitive, complex and involve change impacting large employee groups. Target employee population is geographically diverse. Role requires strategic thought leadership, curiosity and innovative thinking, strong business writing skills across channels, diplomacy, the ability to manage multiple priorities/projects, and delivery of effective internal communications solutions.Our ideal candidate will have financial services communications experience. While knowledge of Retail Lending and mortgage products, services and operations is beneficial, it is not required. A solid background in strategic business communications is desired.This is a remote position and can sit anywhere within the PNC footprint, except for Colorado, Hawaii, Alaska. There is limited expectation for regular in person, in office activities.Job Description Develops communication strategies in support of the strategic direction and oversees initiatives, materials, and staff priorities.

Develops communication strategies; plans, researches, and develops content for complex communications initiatives.

Identifies issues and opportunities, serves as trusted advisor to organization on all aspects of communication, and engages other parts of the organization to ensure strategic alignment, clarity, and accuracy of message.

Coordinates final review and approval before internal or external communications are released.

Leads project teams of increasing complexity, influences outcomes, and evaluates success as appropriate.

Consults and advises on communications strategies based on data-driven insights.

Work Experience Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
