Responsible for leading the writing and copy design of a wide range of online and offline materials that promote, support and build the GNC brand. This includes the strategy, conceptualization, research, writing, editing and proofing for a variety of projects including but not limited to:  advertising, direct marketing, store signage, interactive marketing, email marketing, sales collateral, circulars, retail catalogs and website content.The Copywriter is integral to ensuring the company’s market and brand positioning is well developed, reflective of the brand’s identity, and is consistently articulated in all written communications. The Copywriter will work closely with the Senior Copywriter, the graphic design team and internal experts to translate key marketing messages and strategy into written form through design excellence and visual consistency.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Create innovative online and offline communications consistent with brand and creative standardsConceptualize, design and produce visually appealing, marketing-focused communicationsWork on multiple concurrent projects, ensuring that deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativityCollaborate with Creative, Marketing, Production, Merchandising, Legal and Scientific Affairs teams and outside vendors throughout process on all projectsCollaborate with the Senior Copywriter to build and evolve GNC’s editorial styleEnsure that copy on projects fulfills the creative and strategic vision devised by the Campaign Planning team into effective messaging that helps drive sales and marketing resultsWrite, edit and manage copy updates to GNC’s website content and print materials for merchandising, promotions and the full marketing mixDevelop copy that maintains the consistent voice and style of the brand while conforming to layout and other design constraintsEdit and proo the work of other writers and stakeholders for accuracy in terms of content, style and usageTake a lead role in brainstorming and creative concept meetings; generate creative concepts that support marketing strategies and integrated campaignsEnsure that all materials produced by the Creative Department are edited and proofed before deliveryAct as a recognized and active resource on copywriting issues for others in the CompanyAdditional duties as assigned SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:This job has no supervisory responsibilities
