Washington County Children & Youth is seeking a professional individual to join our Casework Supervisor team. DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this position, you will maintain organization and structure to assist casework staff in their job performance duties. This includes supervising caseworkers who investigate allegations of physical, sexual, or emotional abuse and neglect or situations with imminent risk of same. You will assess and provide direct and case management services to abused or neglected children and their families in the home, as well as provide direct and case management services to children and their families in out-of-the-home placements. Join us in this essential work to ensure the safety, permanency, and well-being of the children we serve. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. This position includes working evening and weekend hours, as well as, performing on-call duties.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences;or

Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

You must pass a background investigation.

A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening.

This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.

Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
