Oversee schedules, verifications, documents, reports, relationships, and work product.
Oversee prioritization, quality, resources, supplies, processes and facilities (must stay within budgetary constraints).
Plan and evaluate the use of staff, resources for departmental programs and services.
Ensure adherence to regulations, safety standards, policies and procedures.
Maintain logs and records, equipment maintenance, and orders supplies.
Organizes work and provides direct supervision to subordinates.
Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of staff.
Identify and implement training opportunities to help the staff better meet standards.
Complete all mandatories in set time frame.
Identify areas of growth for staff.
Collaborate with department director to identify and address staff deficiencies.
Manage employee relations of staff and keep director informed.
Collaborate with Director regarding new strategies and strategic initiatives for continued growth.
Participates collaboratively in staff meetings, committees, projects and teams and assists in resolving conflict and meets goals.
Through collaboration with Medical Physicist and designated section Radiologist, facilitates ACR accreditation of CT scanners through submission of clinical and phantom images, dose measurements and scanning protocol.
Updates CT protocols as needed with designated section Radiologist and Medical Physicist.
May observe and monitor the quality of images, prepare reports based on activities.
Call responsibilities shared between Team Leads of CT and MRI department.Education Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED Required
Technical Diploma Radiology Technology or Nuclear Medicine Required
Bachelor's Degree PreferredExperience Qualifications
At least ten (10) years in CT Scan Required and
At least five (5) years supervisory experience Required
Pediatric experience PreferredLicenses and Certifications
Computed Tomography (CT) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - upon hire - Required and
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - Organization that requires a hands-on instructor lead psychomotor skills verification (ex. American Heart Association or Red Cross). - within 12 months - RequiredSkills and Abilities

Advanced knowledge of radiology information systems
Advanced knowledge of HIPAA regulations

Intermediate proficiency with office software (Microsoft Office) including word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsible for maintaining the continuing education required for this position.
Completes all on-line Mandatory education required by hospital
