If so, the Department of General Services (DGS) has the position for you! We are seeking an ambitious Administrative Officer 2 to serve as a Customer Account Manager (CAM), functioning as the primary point of contact for our clients and acting as a project manager for a multitude of specialized duties within the Bureau of Publications. DESCRIPTION OF WORKAs a Customer Account Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with the bureau's clients to provide various procurement functions related to print ITQs, signage print, and mail needs. Duties involve e stablishing contact with customers up to and including executive level and Governor’s Office staff and meeting with them regularly to help develop print specifications, analyze the most cost effective and efficient form of developing the request, conducting bid requirements, if necessary, and ensuring the completed job is delivered timely, accurately, and in accordance of all customer requirements. You will exercise significant initiative in managing various types of print, mail, and signage projects, ranging from print on demand to complex variable data printing, as well as mass mailings to commercially produced jobs. Within this role, you must possess an understanding of all facets of the bureau’s operation including but not limited to, document design, digital printing, wide format printing, signage, mail production, distribution, presort activities, and bindery work, which also includes a working knowledge of DGS state-wide contracts. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment

Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as an Administrative Officer 1 ;or

Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or

Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):

Call center customer service experience.

Account manager experience.

Retail sales experience.

Business to business sales experience.
