Customer Service Representative

Description Robert Half is working with a local nonprofit who is committed to providing crucial support and services to veterans in need through their Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) program. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team and assist veterans in accessing housing assistance. Respond to inquiries from veterans seeking housing assistance in a professional and compassionate manner.

Conduct outbound calls to follow up with veterans and provide information about available services.

Maintain accurate and detailed records of all interactions with veterans in the designated database.

Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to data security protocols.

Work collaboratively with the SSVF team to coordinate services and address veterans' needs effectively.

Participate in team meetings and contribute insights to enhance program efficiency.

Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to engage effectively with veterans.

Provide clear and concise information about available housing assistance programs

Requirements

Requirements:

Previous customer service experience is essential.

Excellent phone skills with a focus on active listening and empathy.

Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Fluent in Spanish would be very helpful
