Job Description: Engage with internal partners to understand business strategy, translate business requirements into data analytics approach, and lead projects through completion; apply structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to verify data quality, perform data cleansing, and build database tables; perform data analysis with advanced analytical methods to surface historical data trends and insights; leverage data insights to develop reporting and visualization for business, create presentations that translate analytics insights into actional solutions for business, and create metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) that could effectively gauge the business; develop, own, and maintain recurring analytics and reporting processes; utilize knowledge of business and analytics and share with team members; share and document best practices. Company operates on hybrid model with three days in office and work-from-home available two days.Requirements:Requires Master’s in Statistics, Mathematics, or closely related field and two years of experience in job offered or in IT positions including Senior Data Analyst, Consultant and/or Network Analyst - Business Data Consultant and/or Programmer Analyst. Background in education, training or experience must include Data Warehouse, Data Lake, ETL and Data Pipeline; advanced Database and SQL skills including Common Table Expressions (CTEs), Window Functions, Data Pivoting, User Defined Functions (UDFs); Business Intelligence tools and skills – full life cycle development – semantic layer and data architecture design, data blending and multi-sourcing, reporting and visualization development, report and dashboard subscription, automation and maintenance, troubleshoot and performance tuning; Programming Language and Tools – R, Python – to automate tasks, define functions, perform analysis, and deliver out-of-box solutions; Statistics knowledge and methodologies including Correlation, Box plot, Distribution, AB Testing, Regression Modeling, Classification, Time Series, Outlier Detection; Big Data – Spark, Hive; Cloud Service – AWS; financial and investment management industry knowledge including in depth knowledge of business operation and associated data infrastructure to successfully optimize data structure, perform data analysis, uncover data insight, and translate between business and technology terms to drive growth.Special FactorsSponsorshipVanguard is offering visa sponsorship for this position.About Vanguard We are Vanguard.
