Position: Data Analytics Consultant

Location: West Chester, PA

Required Skills Set:
  • Experience with big data and streaming architectures, e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Kafka
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Podman etc.
  • knowledge of programming and modern analytical architectures.
  • Basic understanding of statistics, machine learning, algorithms, predictive modeling, and advanced mathematics.
  • Critical thinking skills and the ability to relate them to business processes and operations.
  • Use SQL (Structured Query Language) and other programming languages (R, C, Python) for building model execution support frameworks.
  • Experience with RDBMS, columnar, and NoSQL database technologies
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as the ability to bridge the gap between data science, computer engineering, and management.

Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Electronics/Electrical Engineering/ Computer Science

Job Description:The Data Analytics Analyst will be responsible for the researching, developing, and implementing data and analytics solutions across the organization under the general supervision of the IT Applications Director. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and understanding data, the data lifecycle, flow of data between systems, how it is utilized and stored.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for leveraging data and to understand organizational needs, outcomes and improve efficiency
  • Define and implement a plan to reengineer existing reports and diverse data sets
  • Manipulate data and draw business insights
  • Create documentation related to data, reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate with vendors, managers, end users and business analysts to gather user requirements for reports and analytics
  • Facilitate development and implementation of data quality standards
  • Translate complex technical concepts and data analysis results to stakeholders
  • Evaluate new and existing technologies and recommend improvements and/or efficiencies
  • Assist in efforts to ensure data is protected and ensure the integrity of data assets
  • Assist with quality control measures and system alerts to ensure all data transactions reach the appropriate end points
  • Resolves issues, and implements strategies to address reoccurrences
  • Standardize data management tools
  • Understanding and familiarity with government regulations (e.g. HIPAA, Clinical Decision Support) (Preferred)
