Description We are offering a role within the mortgage industry, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. This position is within our data entry team, providing an opportunity for those with a keen eye for detail. As a Credit Clerk, you will be tasked with a range of responsibilities that require a meticulous approach and excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities: Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications. Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records of customer credit. Resolving customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect overdue payments. Reviewing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of executed closing documents. Ensuring the quality of scanned executed documents and making them web viewable. Meeting lender specifications and adhering to state and county requirements. Reviewing title commitments to ensure all title requirements have been met. Creating notes for all reviewed files, indicating whether the review passed or failed, and initiating tasks for corrections where necessary. Approving the shipping of packages to lenders after review.This role offers a contract employment opportunity. Proficiency in 10 Key Skills, Customer Service, Data Entry, Email Correspondence, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Organizing Files, Performing Calculations, Scanning, and Typing is necessary to perform the aforementioned responsibilities effectively. Requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Demonstrated experience with data entry Excellent customer service skills Ability to effectively correspond via email Experience with organizing files and documents Ability to perform calculations accurately and efficiently Proficiency in typing and 10 Key Skills Experience with scanning documents No specific years of experience required, open to all levels of experience Ability to learn and adapt to new software and technology related to the mortgage industry Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High level of integrity and trustworthiness Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
