Description

We are seeking a certified Data Analyst to join the team. To be successful in this role, you should be able to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. Responsibilities include developing analysis and reporting capabilities and conducting full lifecycle analysis to include requirements, activities and design. The Data Analyst will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary for accuracy

- Develop business reports that provide insight into key data points

- Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers

- Support various departments, including marketing and sales, in reaching their goals through analysis

- Monitor data and call out any changes in business and financial trends

- Design business analysis and data recording systems for use throughout the department

- Accurately examine and gather data for various types of business reports

- Analyze data reports regularly, identifying and resolving any mistakes

Requirements

- Skilled in written and verbal communication to effectively relate data to coworkers

- Skilled in time management and prioritization to meet project deadlines

- Skilled in creating pivot tables, graphs, and charts using data tools

- Detail oriented with a tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results

- Experience with object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs

- 1 to 3 years of experience as a financial or business analyst

- Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions

- Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports

- Comfortable with business operations, objectives, strategies, process and information flow
