Position: Data Science Engineer

Required Skills Set:
  • Data Science;
  • Machine Learning or Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition or Predictive Modeling, and Data Mining with knowledge of: scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras;
  • Cybersecurity and Systems Engineering;
  • Programming, Modeling, & Scripting Languages: Python and either C/C, SQL;
  • Working with cloud platforms: Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, or AWS;
  • Data processing and developing production level ML models: Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Composer, Vertex AI, PubSub, Cloud Functions;
  • Ability in prototyping, piloting, and deploying real-time distributed scientific solutions at scale in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers; and
  • Reporting tools: Tableau or PowerBI and PowerPoint.

Job Description:Lead the data science and machine learning related effort across various teams and business units. Provide systems engineering expertise and technical guidance during solution development and deployment. Help with building strategy and be responsible for the tactical executions of data driven products and services. Lead cross-functional teams, consisting of experts in different areas, that positively impact multiple businesses. Evaluate new technologies and tools that can grow the business in short and long term. Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical members of the team.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the following activities:
    • FPV and pricing forecast for business plan, focused on BEV & whitespace products
    • PD program and milestone analysis and special ad hoc projects
    • Alignment with volume segmentation, near term forecasting, residual value and physicals forecasts
  • Apply and integrate latest analytical tools developed by BSPA modeling team
  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management and business customers
