Data Scientist/ Agronomic Development

As a leading provider of agricultural technologies, this company is looking to expand one of their most important teams, focused on developing a high impact SaaS platform. You will be creating a product that will allow growers and farmers to make better, more informed decisions than ever before. The novel insights that this product will deliver will continue to allow the company to deliver the best agronomic solutions available. Their data science team is now looking to hire an Agronomic Development specialized Data Scientist. You will sit on the team as a domain expert, adding value through both hands-on analytical work, as well as market knowledge expertise. This position requires 2+ years of professional experience working in Agricultural Analytics, Agronomy, Weed Science, or Entomology. The ideal candidate will also have basic experience to various technologies and analytics tools including SQL, Python or R, statistics, research, etc. This is a hybrid position that will require someone local to the Philadelphia area and able/willing to go onsite 2-3 days/week. Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience working in Agricultural Analytics, Agronomy, Weed
• Strong analytical/stats focused background or experience
• Strong interest in analytics & data science

• Experience working with data science tools such as Python, SQL, R, etc.
