Position Summary: As a Decking Subcontractor, you will play a crucial role in the construction and installation of high-quality decks. You will work closely with our design-build team to bring our clients' visions to life by executing precise deck installations and ensuring exceptional attention to detail. Your expertise in deck construction and knowledge of industry best practices will be essential in delivering exceptional results and maintaining our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design-build team to review project plans, specifications, and materials required for each deck installation.

Execute the construction and installation of decks, following industry standards and company guidelines.

Ensure accurate measurements, precise cuts, and proper assembly of materials during the deck construction process.

Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Install support structures, joists, beams, and other necessary components to create a stable and durable deck.

Incorporate safety protocols throughout the construction process, adhering to local building codes and regulations.

Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of waste materials.

Collaborate effectively with the project manager and team members to ensure timely completion of projects within budget.

Provide regular progress reports, addressing any issues or challenges encountered during the deck construction process.

Uphold a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring the final product exceeds client expectations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Decking Subcontractor or similar role within the construction industry.

In-depth knowledge of deck construction techniques, materials, and industry best practices.

Proficient in using a wide range of hand and power tools relevant to deck construction.

Strong understanding of local building codes and regulations related to deck installations.

Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients.

Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to meeting project deadlines.

Valid contractor's license and appropriate insurance coverage.
