Defect & Release Coordinator

• Minimum 5 years strong hands-on experience in Defect Coordination for QA and UAT.
• Strong expertise in end-to-end defect management process, ensuring the proper hand-offs and coordination between product/scrum teams.
• Must have working knowledge of Agile and SDLC processes.
• Thorough knowledge and experience in overall defect management life cycle, driving the defect triage by closely working with BA, Dev, QA, PO’s.
• Generate & publish reports/dashboard, metrics from Defect Management Tool to the leadership.
• Should be responsible for tracking, follow-up, and escalation steps for Critical, High defects.
• Demonstrable progress chasing and tracking, Time management and prioritization skills.
• Ensuring defects entered correctly as per the set process, managed as effectively as possible through their lifecycle from Open to Closure.
• Maintaining absolute integrity of the defect database and ensuring a full audit trail for any changes made to defect status outside of the published defect process.
• Demonstrate experience of working in high-pressure environments in previous roles.

• Maintain and communicate deployment schedules to establish clear and efficient task scheduling.
• Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews
• Weekly Release Reporting and communicate release details, status, and schedules to all the stakeholders and the Business (as required)
• Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.
• Lead and co-ordinate the Go-Live activities including the execution of the deployment Plans and checklists.
• Maintains a release repository and manages key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists.

• Experience using Azure DevOps for Defect management/tracking.
