Robert Half is seeking candidates with the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users in an understandable and concise format, for a Desktop Support Technician position with a company in the Printing/Publishing field. This Desktop Support Analyst role is long-term contract / temporary to hire in nature and is based in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area.Your responsibilities:- Provide computer desktop support in accordance with established policies and procedures- Retain, investigate, and restore computer systems, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals- Be in contact regularly and effectively with ticket submitters- Solve computer problems, and implement appropriate action/solutions- Create records of daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions taken or installation activities- Offer support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems- Organize hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors Requirements - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, user instructions, and procedure manuals- Printer Hardware experience preferred- Network Printers experience- MS Windows 10 experience- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365- Desktop Support experience- Desktop support or related experience- Ability to work in and maintain Active and Open Directory Systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
