Detection Engineer

Job Title: Detection EngineerJob DescriptionThis is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. The ideal candidate will have a strong skillset in cloud security, SIEM/EDR, Python, and threat modeling.Responsibilities

Develop and implement advanced detection strategies to identify and mitigate security threats.

Utilize SIEM and EDR tools to monitor and analyze security events.

Conduct threat modeling to identify potential security risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security posture and incident response capabilities.

Participate in hands-on screening during the interview process to demonstrate technical proficiency.

Essential Skills

Extensive experience in cloud security.

Proficiency with SIEM and EDR tools.

Strong programming skills in Python.

Expertise in threat modeling and risk assessment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
