Our client in Philadelphia, PA is looking for a DevOps Engineer to support their internal technical operations. This is a fully remote, 6+ month ongoing contract role supporting a well-known organization.

Position Description:

Responsible for creating innovative solutions to merging legacy systems into cloud concepts, ideas, and continuous process improvement.
Responsible for automation and acceleration of the testing, release, and deployment cycles through written scripts for configuration and provisioning.
Work to achieve maximum efficiency within system automation and integration through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Web Services and scripting technologies and tools.
Develop and employ continuous delivery system practices via cloud services and infrastructure.
Ability to execute and automate Continuous Integrations pipelines for various development projects using a core suite of tools.
Responsible for the monitoring, scaling, and optimization of distributed services within cloud infrastructure.
Integrate closely with development teams on identifying, problem solving and resolving issues that impact software releases and service delivery.
Strong focus on orchestrating site resiliency and DevOps standards and technologies.
Responsible for the management of consumable technologies, processes, and integrations to bolster company LOBS.
Streamline IT business operations and processes among all technical and business teams.
Communication and professionalism

Required Skills:

Working understanding of IT principals within directory services, network, and infrastructure.
2+ years of experience with IaC Technologies leveraging Terraform specifically ADO, Pipelines, Git, YAML, etc.
2+ years of experience with Kubernetes, containers, and integration
2+ years of API Integration within Azure, ServiceNow, Thycotic Secret Server, Active Directory, and related.
2+ years within Azure Public cloud solutions.
Advanced Scripting Skills including PowerShell, Python, Terraform and/or other IaC languages.
Management of Public Cloud Offerings (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, O365, ADO)
Microsoft Windows and Non-WinOS such as Linux Server administration
Advanced knowledge of Azure Data Integration Technologies including Azure Service Bus and Azure Data Factory.
Strong collaboration and communication skills to independently navigate across layers of business teams.

Bonus Skills:

Automation experience utilizing C#, PowerShell, or Python to leverage infrastructure and build processes.
Experience with Identify Management SSO/MFA.
Structure Data Platform Experience and SQL is a plus
Relevant certifications.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
