The Dining Room Supervisor leads a team of 6 employees, coordinates and oversees cafeteria operations ensuring that product quality, service & safety standards are maintained. The Supervisor is responsible for coordinating product orders & food production, maintaining HACCP compliance and requirements for food and workplace safety programs and regulatory inspections, providing comprehensive training to staff, coordinating catering events at the dining hall, performance management including corrective actions, timekeeping and fulfillment of staff vacancies.Work schedule: Monday through Friday 6:00 am – 2:30 pm with occasional weekends and holidays depending on the needs of the department. This is year-round position that requires schedule flexibility for weekends, holidays and special events as needed for catering and other school functions. Salary ranges from $22.11 - $29.53 an hour depending on the work experience. In addition to competitive salary, full-time employees are eligible for an excellent benefits package which includes paid time off, medical, dental and vision insurance, 403(b) saving plans, life insurance and much more.High School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in related field, required.Demonstrated prior experience supervising food service personnel and working in a large production or commercial kitchen environment, required.Culinary/catering and operation of large commercial kitchen equipment required.Current NSF Serv Safe Certification.Valid PA Driver’s License in good standing.HACCP training.Physically capable to lift and/or carry up to 50+ pounds on a frequent basis.Ability to maintain accurate records and follow instructions; understand and carry out oral and written communication.Ability to interact and communicate with a diverse group of adults and youth on a regular basis.Candidate should demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS Staff are considered to be role models for MHS Students.Candidates should be willing to actively engage with MHS Students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
