Director of Application Security - Fully Remote

An online shopping service focusing on grocery delivery services is looking for a Director of Application Security to join their team! This role is fully remote, and down the road will be hybrid. This candidate must have experience of managing an Application Security team, while also being technical. Some technical requirements include DAST/SAST experience, securing APIs, scripting and/or reviewing experience. This candidate must have stellar communication skills. • Strong Application Security background (Securing APIs, Securing CI/CD Pipelines, Data Protection/Secure Data Transactions).
• Application Security Management experience.
• Experience of working for an eCommerce company.
• DAST/SAST experience.
• Able to work a balance of management and technical duties.

• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant field.
• Cloud experience, Azure is preferred but Google Cloud Platform or AWS is ok.
• Previous experience as a Software Engineer is desired but not required.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Any certification is a plus.
• Good communication skills, able to work successfully with other teams.
• Team player! Able to work well with others and adapt to work environments.
