Director of Finance (Hybrid/No C2C)

Our client, a leader in economic development is seeking candidates for a full-time Director of Finance position. This individual will be a key member of their finance team with oversight of day-to-day accounting functions and compliance. They will report to the Vice President of Finance. • Conduct and manage monthly financial closing, account analysis, reconciliations, and accurate financial statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting package
• Assist in the preparation of budget and forecast
• Manage Fiscal Sponsorship relationships
• Prepare all Form 990's and BCO-10s
• Supervise day-to-day operations of the accounting team
• Participate in special projects assigned by the VP of Finance and CFO

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA preferred
• Experience with completion of external audits
• 4+ years' experience in public accounting or 6+ years overall financial experience. Expected to be comfortable overseeing all aspects of accounting including review of general ledger, AP, AR, and Payroll.
• Supervisory experience required
• Experience working with non-profit organizations, form 990 preparation and grant reporting preferred
