Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Architect

Computer Enterprises, Inc. has an opening for a Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Architect with a client in Media, PA. Candidates should have a background with Disaster Recovery.

• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans that align with the organization's risk tolerance and regulatory requirements
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to the technology infrastructure and applications
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices for disaster recovery and business continuity
• Test and evaluate the effectiveness of disaster recovery and business continuity plans and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors and external partners, to ensure effective disaster recovery and business continuity planning and execution
• Coordinate and manage the recovery process in the event of a disaster, including communication with stakeholders, identification of critical systems, and activation of recovery plans
• Provide guidance and training to other teams on disaster recovery and business continuity best practices and procedures
• Manage and update IT continuity plans for business critical processes
• Activities including; Business Impact Assessments, Business Continuity Plan Development, Testing & Governance and Assurance.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
• 5+ years of experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning and implementation for complex, distributed systems
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, microservices, and containerization technologies
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity best practices, including risk assessments, impact analyses, and recovery strategies
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to disaster recovery and business continuity, such as HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
