Description Our client in Turtle Creek is looking for a candidate for a contract opportunity for 10 weeks for a Document Specialist. The Document Specialist will be responsible for managing company documents while ensuring their accuracy, quality, and integrity. Hours are 8:00AM - 4:30PM. Responsibilities:Organizing and maintaining physical and digital documents, including creating, approving, or modifying documents.Assist in the development of document control strategies, guidelines and procedures.Collecting and maintaining data for comprehensive filing systems.Coordinating and managing document distribution, both internally and externally.Using software to convert formats, sizing and scaling photos, and correcting flaws in the documents.Implementing periodic check-ups of the document system manual to ensure it is up to date.Ensuring accurate document categorization to enable quick and easy access.Handling customer requests for paper or electronic copies of documents.Ensuring all documents are free of typographical errors and are properly edited and formatted.Conduct regular audits of document control systems to ensure proper functioning and adherence to the document management policy.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in business management, library science, or a related field.Proven experience in document control or a related field.Strong understanding of computer programs (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), electronic databases, and web applications.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Proficient in using content management systems.Ability to carry confidential information with discretion.Strong organizational ability and comfort with managing complex systems.The Document Specialist should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a vast understanding of file management systems.
