Electrical Engineer

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER Job Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of an Electrical Engineer for a contract position in New Freedom, PA. The opportunity will be six months with a strong chance for a long-term extension. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Conduct system modeling, system simulation and verification using MATLAB/Simulink with Auto-code generation.
• Conduct prototype testing on hardware-in-loop system, variable speed drives and chiller to verify control performance.
• Support field issue trouble shooting and control method improvements.
• Assist internal customers to develop, test and support PCBA related projects.
• Develop schedules which accurately reflect the project milestones and adhere to them.
• Understanding and complying with quality policy, procedures and instructions to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

• BSEE or BSCE, or related field; minimum of 10 years of experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, schedule driven, team-oriented environment.
• Good team player, strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Deep understanding of system modeling and simulation using MATLAB/SIMULINK is required.
• Deep understanding of power electronics and motor control is required.
• Experience with controller design using MATLAB/SIMULINK is required.
• Experience with Auto-code generation using MATLAB/SIMULINK is required.
• Experience with programmable logic is a plus.
• Familiarity with TI DSPs is desired.
• Familiarity with HVAC Systems is a plus.
