Our diverse customer base is spread across multiple agencies at thousands of customers worldwide. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to enhance, maintain and expand the company's portfolio of products and testing solutions that support various applications for our electromagnetic shielding systems. Testing mainly comprises of Shielding Effectiveness (SE) testing and Pulse Current Injection (PCI) testing in accordance with MIL-STD-188-125. The candidate will work within a small group of Testing. Engineers/Technicians and lead research and development efforts of test equipment, as well as the system engineering efforts for various test configurations. The candidate will also participate in design reviews to ensure that shielding products will comply with all applicable testing requirements. The ideal candidate will have worked in an EMI/EMC testing field and will be knowledgeable of applicable testing standards (MIL-STD, IEC, IEEE etc.) and methodologies. In addition to RFI and EMI testing, the ideal candidate will also have experience in automation design using PLC's, printed circuit board design, and specifying standard electrical components. The candidate would be responsible for developing, designing, and testing electrical and automation equipment for different product offerings. Job Responsibilities:

• Designs, prototypes, and tests new circuits for assigned projects. Specifically, the design iteration of a high-current pulser (marx generator)
• Works within a team to contribute to ongoing projects, research, and development
• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods, testing properties.
• Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements, researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
• Maintains company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Occasionally travels to job sites to perform or assist with on-site testing and engineering efforts.
• Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures, requesting repair service.
• Completes company assigned training in a timely manner. Offers continuous improvement suggestions as appropriate.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, and to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• General testing, measurement, and experiment or laboratory skills (including data collection and data analysis)
• Strong background in power electronics and electromagnetic compatibility preferred
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
• Ability to create circuit models in simulation software such as SPICE
• Must be a U.S. citizen and have or be eligible for a DoD Security Clearance (at the Secret level)
• Ability to travel 10% or more

• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field (graduate degrees preferred)
