Job Description

Title: Embedded Developer

Location: Langhorne, PA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6-month contract with possible extension

Job Description: Our medical device client is seeking an Embedded Developer for a 6-month contract.

Required Skills:

5+ years working under a prescribed development process
C/C++ experience
Experience developing embedded software with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems (RTOS) to control pumps, motors, PWM, PID, etc.
Experience developing software for constrained target environments including multi-threaded application design
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Eager to learn new development technologies and application areas
BSEE/BSCS or science degree Master's degree a plus

Bonus/Soft Skills:

Messaging protocols including UART, USB, I2C, SPI, CAN. Also useful is understanding REST API, WCF, message queues, web services
Bare metal firmware development
Design of sophisticated, custom UI controls using Qt or other embedded framework
Experience with basic hardware test equipment such as meters and scopes
C#, WPF, other .Net/.Net Core UI technologies
Requirements analysis and documentation
FDA 510(K) process and quality system requirements
