RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer in Cranberry, PA.

Summary:The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for writing, modifying, and debugging embedded software within Robotics and Automation focused on the IVX Station program. This role will interact with other engineers and product management to gather inputs for creating software designs and implementations.

Responsibilities: Embedded Software Engineer will build product deliverables following overall architectural direction Understand business requirements Develop clear and readable code for simple to moderately complex features Create unit, functional and integration tests to assure that implementation meets the need and functions properly As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will participate in code review activities to assure high quality Perform root cause analyses and technical troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience C programming Embedded C software design engineer in a component-based software architecture using modern C features Embedded C experience from both a Senior and Junior level perspective Linux experience (main platform used) Robotics knowledge and experience Highly motivated Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional Capabilities (nice to have): Experience working on medical device development Experience in a regulated environment Experience with low-level embedded systems and -bare metal- coding Independent thinking with an ability to lead and influence
