Overview:

Seeking a senior-level software engineer to lead the team responsible for the design, development, production, integration, and life cycle support of embedded system software in Torpedo Systems Group (TSG) products used aboard Navy submarines, ships, and aircraft. The TSG designs, develops, demonstrates, produces, assembles, tests and delivers torpedo SONAR arrays and electronic assemblies. The TSG team works with the Navy, internal production staff and representatives from other companies to advance torpedo performance and lower production costs.

Duties

Perform Software development (C) and System Engineering for a complex system
Perform component and architecture trade studies to determine optimal system solutions
Document and present trade studies, analyses, test results, status, etc. to the team
Generate design and interface documentation
Design and develop software for embedded processor-based systems
Develop test criteria and assist in the design of test systems including test software applications
Develop technical presentations, recommendations, and written communications to explain technical issues to program management and the Navy customer team.
