Natural Gas and Fuel Market Fundamentals and Planning ConsultantLocation: Any USA based ICF office hybrid (Washington DC preferred) or USA RemoteICF Energy Markets and Planning Team has a tremendous opportunity for an experienced and knowledgeable individual to join our consulting team serving the natural gas and LNG industry. We are seeking self-driven and dynamic individual who has knowledge, understanding and insight of the global gas and energy industry to help grow and develop ICF’s fuels market team. Candidates will have a thorough grounding in the gas, LNG, and gas-to-power sector and be able to discuss and articulate clearly how energy markets supply and demand fundamentals are evolving, and how these developments will create opportunities and challenges for various industry participants. As a Consultant with ICF’s Energy Markets and Planning Advisory practice, you will have the opportunity to advance ICF’s gas market fundamentals analytics, and our decarbonization and energy market transition strategy support for industry clients across North America. This will include helping our clients assess clean energy transition opportunities including options for low and zero carbon fuels such as renewable natural gas and hydrogen.Candidates will need to demonstrate that they have the capability and drive to think through and convey insights about the implications of changes in the industry to near- and long-term markets, policies, and business strategies of our clients. In this position, you will work on demanding projects for major energy industry players. You will be part of focused, flexible and result-orientated project teams in which commercial, market and management insight powerfully combine to support our clients on some of their most challenging business issues and problems. Key responsibilities for the Senior Manager will include:Support project work streams to ensure high quality, on-time, and on budget deliverables for clients;

Contribute to consulting assignments including delivery of natural gas, LNG, and energy transition/decarbonization market insights.

Serve as lead member if ICF team, leading specific tasks under larger projects, and leading small projects for clients.

Support and manage ICF’s gas market fundamentals data, analysis and modeling.

Contribute to business development though proposal development, authoring papers, and speaking engagements. .

Helping to recruit, mentor and develop junior staff.

Coordinate across other ICF business areas.

As a Consultant, you will need these important minimum qualifications:Possess a bachelor's degree in a relevant quantitative or science discipline such as business, economics, finance, statistics, or engineering; MBA or master's is a plus.

2+ years of experience in the natural gas industry

Considerable experience leading key project workflows and overall coordination of projects.

Preferred qualifications:5+ years of experience in the natural gas industry
