Position requires 10% travel. Responsibilities of the Engineering Project EstimatorEstimate bids for engineering projectsOverseeing bidding processReview specifications, and drawings to create accurate cost estimates for projects meeting submittal deadlineUpdate and maintain Design Configuration and cost estimating tools to determine cost estimatesMake suggestions to streamline and take cost effective measures while adhering to customers specificationsCollaborate with internal teams including procurement and engineering to determine costs and efficiencyProvide draft language for scope of workWork with internal teams, clients, and suppliers to gather information for quotesMaintaining regular communications with Tech Sales Engineers and other internal members to explain cost estimating methods for projectManage several project cost estimates and meet deadlineAssisting with customer plans and specificationsOther duties as requiredRequirements of the Engineering Project EstimatorBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering2-5 years related experienceAutoCAD experience Inventor, and Acrobat proficiency a plusStrong Excel skillsExcellent communication skillsStrong attention to detailOrganized and able to meet deadlinesAdditional Details: Salary: $60-70kMission and VisionWe are a superior consulting firm focused on helping clients achieve their dreams and address complex situations with inspired people, deep expertise, and innovative technologies.We are a perpetual career and opportunity enterprise, focused on building long-term benefits for our people and communities.
