ERP Technical Functional Analyst

We are looking to add an ERP Technical Functional Analyst to our Information Technology team. The ERP Technical Functional Analyst will be responsible for supporting users of applications by optimizing the functionality of business software and related business processes. This includes reviewing, analyzing and modifying enhancements to ERP and complementary systems. Responsibilities will also include coding, testing and debugging in order to support these systems. The ERP Technical Functional Analyst will be part of a team responsible for programming across all ERP applications, writing data interfaces, developing automated workflows, creating ad hoc reports, analyzing and applying vendor patches and fixes. This position will sit on-site at our corporate headquarters facility, located in Freeport, PA.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist with the design, development, modification, maintenance, testing, and documentation of current business applications to satisfy business requirements.
  • Individually or as part of a team, work with management and end users to align business processes with application capabilities.
  • Develop reports and assist in data-related efforts including data migration, ad hoc query, and data transformations.
  • Document technical details of solutions and work with Business Analysts, Key Users, and Project Sponsors to create internal material and/or training materials for the user base.
  • Maintain user and function-based authorization of multiple SaaS systems.
  • Remain up to date with business application feature enhancements and new functionality related to monthly updates.
  • Design and develop requested extensions and personalizations within business applications.
  • Assist with periodic refresh of Test and Training environment.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Thorough understanding of SQL.
  • Experience using application development tools and reporting tools such as SSRS, Cognos, and Power BI, preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to wear personal protection equipment such as, earplugs, safety glasses and safety shoes.

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE / EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of programming experience.
  • Experience with Infor CloudSuite (Mingle, ION, Infor LN, Factory Track) or similar ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of REST API, JSON, XML.
  • Knowledge of LN Studio, LN Personalizations and Extensibility or similar programming tools.
  • Experience in a precision manufacturing or production environment, preferred.
